Jag skall till Boston i feb och jag har en hög IHG-poäng som jag skulle vilja använda. Jag står nu och väger om jag skall boka Kimpton Marlowe eller Intercontinental Boston. Är det någon som har erfarenhet av dessa hotell så mottages tips samt ris och ros tacksamt. Har ni andra tips på IHG hotell i Boston så tas tips om dessa emot tacksamt. @Ricci Hur är IC Boston nuför tiden?

Har bott på båda dessa.
IC ligger bra till i stan och nära till allt. Rummen jag blivit uppgraderad till som Ambassador har alltid varit bra, senast ett hörnrum. Frukosten de erbjuder är ett skämt enligt mig, deras buffé innehåller typ 10 saker.
Kimpton är ett trevligt hotell också, rummen är inte lika flådiga, men av bra standard, lite tråkig utsikt från rummen dock. Frukosten serveras i restaurangen och man får välja på massa saker från menyn. Det finns inte så mycket precis runt hotellet, men det är ju nära över bron och hamna vid TD Garden.
Om jag inte har något specifikt ställe jag ska till i Boston tar jag det hotellet som är billigast av dessa två. Brukar ibland finnas riktigt bra priser när man nyttjar points + cash.
Har även bott på Indigo i stan, ligger bra till men inte värt priset alls då det brukar vara hutlöst dyrt där, kommer inte bo igen om det inte är markant billigare än de andra hotellen.

Helt klart bra hotell, men riktigt dyrt för vad du får och Clubloungen är heller inte den bästa i IC-kedjan.

Beware that these two mentioned hotels have a nightly "destination"/"resort"/"amenity" fee on top of the room rate and taxes. Really dislike these scam fees that too many hotels in the US have nowadays.

IC Boston a few months back hit up some points-only customers with over a $30+ per night charge — then there was tax on top of the hotel’s mandatory nightly “resort” type fee — on the points-only bookings. Are they not allowed to do that?
Interesting, we'll see. Last time I stayed with IC in US points+cash, there were no extra charges despite they claimed that there was a resort fee. They charged my credit card with the whole cash part of the booking and that what was I was paying in the end.
