Det ska du kunna. Det viktiga är att du reser ut till tredje land. Kina räknar Hong Kong, Taiwan och Macau som utlandet med avseende på den här regeln.

Jag förmodade att det borde gå efter att ha läst igenom tråden men ville bara få lite stöd för mina tankar innan jag bokar. Tänkte först bara en T/R Hong Kong - Guangzhou men tror inte den hade gått iom att det inte är utresa till 3:e land/region o vill inte riskera att inte bli insläppt.
Blir en vända till Taipei då när det ändå fanns två dagar till övers...

Bara fyi, du kanske har tänkt på det, men din transit behöver inte vara speciellt lång utan räcker med en mellanlandning i tredje land. I fall du har tänkt att åka tåg mellan Hong Kong - Guangzhou, då gäller upp till 72 timmars visumfri policy i Guangzhou INTE.
Godkänd gränspost i Guangzhou för upp till 72 timmars visumfri policy är endast på Guangzhou flygplats (广州白云国际机场).

5 timmar i Shenzhen innan nästa flyg går till Beijing för 3 timmars stop i Beijing innan flyget till London. Så ett vanligt byte av flyg. Vill inte lämna flygplatsen alltså.

Jag är inte säker, men jag läser texten som att man inte får göra transit om man BÅDE reser från och till USA/Guam/Saipan, men att det är Ok om man åker från ELLER till. Dvs de exempel som doktorn redovisar skulle vara OK, men inte Los Angeles - Shanghai - Guam.
